Atlas & I in Collaboration with Susie Wilson Sculpture

Esteemed British sculptor Susie Wilson and luxury giftware company Atlas & I together form a complimentary duo which celebrates British heritage and traditional countryside pursuits. Entering into their fourth year of working together, the sculptor and gifting company explore similar subjects, capturing the essence of the great British countryside. From handmade maps featuring silhouettes of riding, shooting and pets to exquisitely crafted sculptures of hounds, horses and deer. The exclusive and innovative nature of both artists sees them create bespoke and personalised pieces which are unique to each customer.

Susie Wilson has travelled across the world with her revered collection and last year exhibited at the renowned Aintree Grand National. Each sculpture is brought to life by her intricate technique, resulting in truly charming pieces. Similarly, Atlas & I, which was founded by Sophie Kirkpatrick, who has always had a fascination with vintage maps, marry a hobby or sport together with a special location which culminates in a sentimental and meaningful gift.

Horse racing has always been close to Susie and Sophie's heart, growing up with yearly visits to Cheltenham Festival and the November meetings. Their collaboration on racing themed commissions sees Susie work closely with the horse in question, creating studies and sketches before the main commission is completed. For Sophie the location of the racecourse and history of the map portraying the area comes across in the research that goes into finding the perfect map for each commission.

Together, Susie Wilson and Sophie create bespoke and personalised pieces which each encapsulate very meaningful life moments. Both companies are run by fearless women and truly represent the future of British businesses.

Susie and Sophie will be exhibiting at The Cheltenham Festival on stand 64 in The Shopping Village, make sure you pay them a visit.
