We've never met anyone who doesn't love old maps, which is why we only use antique maps printed on our products. Their unique charm and history are part of who we are and is the foundation of all our products. Because of their age, many were drawn in the 19th Century, not all of the place names or locations we expect to see on modern day maps will be marked.
The map used for this puzzle was published in 1918-1921 on 12 sheets to cover England and Wales. It shows a blue coastal tint, main roads in red and relief areas shown in hachures. Forests are shown in green and includes milages, railways and stations as well as county boundaries. Each original map has been folded into 32 or 34 panels and mounted onto linen so some fold marks can be seen on the reproduction.
The original old maps have been digitally scanned so you may find in places there are map joins, folds or discolouration. We apologise that we cannot remove these and the blemishes add to the authenticity and charm of the finished product.
