This unique tea towel makes a wonderful gift for any map lover and features a vintage map of London and the South West of England. Something to read while you do the dishes or display it in the kitchen for a fun talking point. Our tea towel makes the perfect gift for anyone who loves old maps or who's village or town may feature on the map.
This British made tea towel is printed with a vintage map originally published by John Bartholomew in 1919 and shows the south west coast from Margate to Reading and everywhere inbetween. The northern area of the map shows just beyond North London from Burnham and Southend in the east to Enfield and further to the West, Henley on Thames. If you would like to see if your town or village is marked on the map please contact us before placing your order.
We’ve never met anyone who doesn’t love old maps, that is why we only use antique maps printed on our products. Their unique charm & history are a part of who we are. The map on this tea towel is a reproduction of Sheet 12 from John Bartholomew’s 4 Miles to the Inch Road Map of England & Wales originally published in 1919. Because the maps are scanned and reprinted onto our products there may be defects or variations of colour within the map, these would have been on the original map and are part of the products charm.
